The Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, mni earlier this evening received His Excellency, Amb. Babagana Kingibe, GCON in his Asokoro office.
The duo met to discuss ongoing relief efforts for the victims of the Maiduguri Monday Market Fire Disaster.
Earlier this month, the Maiduguri Market Emergency Relief Fund was set up as a short term relief effort intended to last three to five months, to provide prompt cash and material donations to rebuild the livelihoods of the victims of the fire inferno.
As Prominent Sons of the State, members are expected to bring to bear their vast network of contacts, goodwill and influence to draw funding and support to families of victims of the disaster.
H.E. Ambassador Babagana Kingibe, GCON is the pro tem Chairman with Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, OFR as Secretary.
Other Sector Coordinators are Dr. M.K Dikwa, mni, DG NEDC, Mohammed Alkali, Alh Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, among others.
