The Founder and President, Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohamed Kyari Dikwa, mni received the Management Team of CGGC Global Projects Nigeria along side CGG Consultants to Senate Committee on Local Content for the Mambilla Hydro Power Project.
The Team was led by Muhammad Mustapha, the lead Consultant for the Mambilla Project. Mr. Mustapha said that the purpose of the visit was to appreciate the Founder and President on what he has been doing to bring meaningful development to the Northeast Region and also to brief him on the journey so far on the Mambilla Project, as well as introduce the new management Team of CGGC Global Projects Nigeria.
On his part, the new Country Deputy Director of CGGC, thanked Dr. Dikwa for a warm reception accorded to them and pledge the company willingness to actualize Federal government’s Vision on the Mambilla Hydro Power Project especially with respect to Local Content Development. He said the project has an estimated cost of $5.79 Billion Dollars and when completed will project investment and job opportunities for the entire Northeast Region.
In his remarks, Dr. M.K Dikwa thanked the delegation for the visit and pledge his total support for the Chinese Company handling the project by engaging relevant stakeholders in ensuring the project sees the light of day.
At the end of the meeting, group photographs were taken and gifts presented.
