The Governing Board of ACCE has approved the appointments of Dr. Moayad Al-Rachid and Barrister Modibbo Bello as Acting Director and Acting Assistant Director of Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education (ACCE) Abuja, respectively, pending substantive appointments.
Dr. Moayad Al-Rachid is a prolific Academic, seasoned School Administrator and accomplished Chief Executive Officer with an excellent track record in the Education sector. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology/Islamic Studies from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State. Dr. Al-Rachid is also an Alumni of the prestigious University of Damascus, Syria, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Psychology some 35 years ago. He was at various times a university lecturer, the School Administrator of El-Kanemi College of Islamic Theology, Maiduguri and the Al-Noor Academy of the International Centre for Islamic Culture & Education (ICICE), Abuja, amongst others. He is the Founder of the Royal Institute for Training and Human Capital Development, Zuma Rock Resort, Zuba. Dr. Al-Rachid is also an expert in Strategic Planning, Feasibility Studies, Project Management and Business Development.
Barr. Modibbo Bello is a graduate of Common and Islamic Laws from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto with several years’ experience in the private sector. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. He specializes in Corporate Governance, Corporate Administration and Regulatory Compliance.
Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education (ACCE), Abuja is a fast-growing Educational Centre that has established Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools that run a system that integrates British, Islamic and Nigerian Curriculum. Located in the Nation’s capital city, Abuja, the ACCE is a Centre of learning with state-of-the-art facilities of ultra-modern standards. The Centre offers core Islamic and Western Education subjects in a balanced proportion to enhance the educational and moral development of the society.
The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Centre, Professor Salisu Shehu, stated that the appointment of Dr Moayad Al-Rachid and Barr. Modibbo Bello as Ag. Director and Ag. Assistant Director of Centre, respectively, is as a result of their incredible performance and track-records both in their professional circles and various positions held at the Al-Ansar Foundation. While describing the seasoned School Administrator, Dr Moayad, as a man of stellar character, noble faith and ennobling leadership qualities, the Chairman of the Governing Board described his appointment as putting a square peg in a square hole. The Chairman prayed to Allah (SWA) for the success of the Centre and also prayed that Allah (SWT) grants the appointees’ wisdom, courage and forbearance to dutifully discharge their responsibilities.
Dr. Al-Rachid and Barr. Modibbo are both members of the Governing Board of Al-Ansar Centre for Comprehensive Education (ACCE), Abuja. Their appointment takes effect from the 8th of March, 2022.
